Graeme Whickman Special Guest at Vic Member Night
We were thrilled to host a hugely successful Member Networking event in Melbourne on Tuesday night. Over 70 enthusiastic members attended the Golden Gate Hotel in South Melbourne alongside our special guest Graeme Whickman, CEO of GUD Holdings. We were very fortunate to have Graeme join us for a fascinating Q&A session with Stuart Charity, CEO of the AAAA.
Graeme has a unique industry perspective, given his previous role as President and CEO of Ford Australia, and 20 year career with Ford in senior roles across the world.
In a wide-ranging conversation, Graeme spoke about the dynamics between OEMs and the aftermarket and how they can co-exist, the strengths and prospects of the 4WD sector, Australian engineering talent and manufacturing capability, EV’s, collaborations between aftermarket suppliers and OEMs, and U.S market insights.
After the insightful session, members were able to enjoy finger food, light refreshments and enjoyed networking, which continued into the evening.
