GUD AUTOMOTIVE: Automotive focus for reshaped GUD
GUD Holdings has revved up first-half performance in its automotive parts division while its cleaning products company Oates was swept up in the malaise that hit hardware retail following the collapse of Woolworths’ Masters business.
Automotive, which includes Ryco oil, air and fuel filters and Narva accessories, was a bright spot for GUD’s six months to December 31, with earnings up 10 per cent from a year ago to $35.9 million.
