AAAA Board Evolves with Key Leadership Additions

The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new directors to its Board.

Following the departure of long-serving Board member Adam Pay, Managing Director of mycar, a vacancy was created on the Board. In response, Peter Rogers from Repco Authorised Service (RAS) has been co-opted back onto the Board. Peter previously served on the AAAA Board for over 10 years and brings a wealth of experience and insight from his extensive career and leadership within Repco Authorised Service.

In addition, the Board has taken the opportunity to expand to 12 members, welcoming Graeme Whickman as a new director. Graeme is the Managing Director and CEO of AMOTIV, which owns a portfolio of market-leading companies specializing in high-quality automotive products and solutions, covering 4WD accessories and trailering, automotive lighting power and electrical, powertrain, and undercar. Graeme brings a unique industry perspective, given his previous role as President and CEO of Ford Australia, as well as a 20-year career with Ford in senior roles across the world. His leadership and strategic expertise will add valuable perspectives to the Board.

The AAAA extends its sincere gratitude to Adam Pay for his outstanding contribution to the Board and the broader automotive industry. Adam served on the AAAA Board for 10 years, including as Deputy Chairman, and was instrumental in shaping both the Association and mycar during his tenure. His deep industry knowledge, strategic insights, and commitment to supporting the sector have left a lasting impact, and the AAAA wishes him all the best for his future endeavours.

“We are delighted to welcome Peter Rogers and Graeme Whickman to the AAAA Board. Peter’s deep industry experience and Graeme’s strong leadership and global perspective will be invaluable as we navigate the evolving automotive landscape. At the same time, we extend our sincere thanks to Adam Pay for his decade of outstanding service—his strategic insight and dedication to the industry will be greatly missed,” said Wayne Bryant, AAAA Chairman.

With these new appointments, the AAAA Board continues to strengthen its leadership, bringing together a diverse range of expertise to proactively tackle industry challenges and drive forward a strong and strategic direction for the future of the automotive aftermarket sector.
